One main GOAL:

Enhanced Reservoir Characterisation

Based Upon

Borehole Imaging/Dipmeter Data

We Focus on:

Processing, Quality Control, outputs in an easy and interpretable format for geoscientists, in-depth interpretation of the electric/acoustic/density Borehole Imaging and Dipmeter data with presentation of the results in appropriate formats adapted to the specificity of your reservoir.

We pin point key elements for a better hydrocarbon recovery:

-1) Paleocurrent directions, and their variations, in siliciclastic reservoirs, for a better mapping of the most prolific channels, further than that,

-2) An utmost characterization of the matrix for a better understanding of its involvement in porosity/permeability,

-3) Comprehensively investigations to figure out the reservoir structure,

-4) In-depth analysis of the fracture network in fractured reservoirs,

-5) In Situ stress analysis to improve borehole stability and to enhance oil recovery related to the potential fluid flow paths...

These only for illustration sake...a reservoir is so vast and so fascinating!

We conceive a reservoir not only as a closed tank partly full with hydrocarbons targeted by several drillings to optimise production and each time improving the methodology.

Beyond that, it is often a reservoir with its own natural draining network: This draining network within the reservoir should be figured out and targeted in its very prolific connections, the most collecting fluid flow paths. They are the utmost targets by appropriate drillings to fasten them to your pipeline.

Our Experience is built up on:

-1) More than 60 studies (involving about 80 wells) of the most important reservoirs worldwide in Norway, Denmark, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Italia.

-2) Studies using original data from several tools and from different logging companies:

FMI, FMS, UBI, OBMI, HDT, and SHDT (Schlumberger)

CBIL, STAR, and HEXDIP (Baker Hughes), and

CAST, ALD (Halliburton).

-3) Studies implementing very powerful software such as RECALL (Baker Hughes), available in house,

-4) Background of more than 25 years of extensive structural and field studies in Algeria, and a quick look around the Mediterranean area, with about 40 publications or so.
